MikrotikLS, better known simply under the MikroTik brand, is a Latvian company based in Riga, a manufacturer of computer networking equipment, in particular routers and wireless devices, and is known in the low-cost and highly configurable layer hardware market firmware.
Its products are in fact equipped with free firmware, such as RouterOS or alternatives like OpenWrt, and are an economic alternative to expensive Ethernet routers and radio links and for this reason they have been chosen in several projects in the markets of the developing countries.
